Workforce Partnership provides many services to individuals seeking new or better employment, regardless of residency or income. All job seekers may utilize our Workforce Centers to obtain FREE services and information on high-demand jobs in the area, learn about upcoming hiring events and job fairs, receive resume and job search assistance, attend a workshop or orientation and receive basic assessments.
In addition to the services listed above, if you are low income, have barriers to employment or have been affected by a recent layoff, you are also eligible for more intensive services, including training grants to reskill or upskill. Please call or visit your local workforce center.
The Rapid Response packet includes detailed information about Workforce Partnership‘s career center and intensive services offered to individuals who have been laid off. The packet also includes detailed information from the KS Department of Labor on how to file for unemployment benefits on its new online platform, plus additional guidance on job transition planning.
