The Workforce Partnership Mature Workers Roundtable

Individuals with life experience bring tremendous value to the workplace. If you are a mature worker or job seeker aged 55+ and would like assistance in meeting new career goals or are looking for a career change, Workforce Partnership's Mature Worker Program could be an excellent resource for you. Whether you are new to the job market, getting back to work or an experienced professional looking for a new adventure, we can support you every step of the way through a variety of services. The program is largely supported by the State of Kansas' Older Kansans Employment Program grant and WIOA funds. Our Mature Worker Lead, Molly Turney, is available to meet with mature workers to assess their needs and provide the services listed below.

- Special paid Internships for Mature Workers getting back into the job market

Eligibility:

All Mature Workers ages 55+ are welcome to participate in our workshops and receive most of the assistance listed above. However, only those who are low-to-moderate income will qualify to receive financial assistance for training and education and/or paid work-based learning opportunities. Individuals wanting to qualify for financial assistance must also be residents of Johnson, Wyandotte or Leavenworth Counties and they must document eligibility to work in the United States.
